  Using Fetch 5.7.6, can I search for filenames within my site?
  That is, I think there's an 'asset' of name including "pjActionContact" somewhere in my site, but I don't know which of the many folders/subfolders contains it.

  Most servers don't provide a way to do that. You can try choosing Send FTP Command from the Remote menu and entering the name you're looking for in the Search field; if your server supports the SITE INDEX command that should work.
