I'm totally new to FTP and I cannot find the way to consistently view the uploaded files.
I'm sure that there is something obvious which I dont see. Possibly to do with WebView.
I can see that files are being "put" and I can"get" them again.I did manage to get a few lines of XHTML <new to this also> to display as a webpage and I did upload a couple of folders for a website. One was the index.html file and the other the pics to go in it.I got the skeleton XHTML to display briefly but the pics were not there. So I uploaded again with everything in the pics file.Since then I have not been able to find the way to view them. What I get are 403-Forbidden errors or just taken to Wikipedia on http etc.Sorry about this screed.Any advice would be welcome. Dont be afraid of talking down to me. I just want to get my first website up and running.I am trying to access http://www.users.waitrose.com/~cullernose
    Best wishes to everyone!

    Hi James,

It sounds like you Fetch is successfully uploading the files, since you get them again using Fetch. The problem is seeing them in your web browser.

If you upload your files to the correct folder on the webserver, they should automatically become visible in a web browser at your address. So it sounds you may either be putting the files in the wrong location, or the address to see your webapges is not the one you expect.

Since every server setup is different, unfortunately we can't tell you exactly which folder you should be uploading files to and what the correct address is.

I would check with the folks who run the server you're trying to upload to, and make sure that you are uploading your files to the correct folder, and verify that you are using the correct address in the web browser to view them.

If you're still having problems after confirming that, let su know.

    Thanks,
