Hi,
It's possible that there is a problem with the server, or that they have made changes to the server that are causing a problem.
However, please try the following, which may fix the problem:
* Quit Fetch.
* Open Fetch again.
* Go to the Fetch menu, and choose Preferences.
* In the Preferences window, click the General tab.
* Make sure the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox is checked.
* Then, click the Miscellaneous tab.
* Change the setting of the "Use LIST -al to reveal hidden files" checkbox. That is, if it is checked, uncheck it; if it is unchecked, check it.
* Then try connecting to the server again.Let us know if this helps or not.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

No, this didn't work either. I have been in contact with my website host, and they can't figure out any reason it doesn't work. I suppose I will have to contact Comcast (God help me!) and see if there is something with my firewall that has changed.

Hi,
Sorry to hear that didn't help.
This problem may indeed be caused by your router, if you have one. Is your Macintosh connected directly to your cable modem, or do you connect using wireless, or have a router to share the connection between different computers?
Also, can you use Fetch to connect to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com successfully? (No username or password is required.)
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I am not able to access my FTP site anymore. I have changed nothing than I know of, but I keep getting the message: Fetch could not get the file list because the connection was refused.
I will attach the transcript:
