Hi Denis,
There are a small number of shortcut files that Fetch 5.1 has trouble reading when upgrading.
Please try the following:
* Quit Fetch.
* Choose "Home" from the Go menu in the Finder
* Open the Library folder
* Open the Preferences folder
* Find the file named com.fetchsoftworks.Fetch.Shortcuts.plist, and move it to the trash.
* Do not delete any of the rest of the Fetch preferences files.
* Then download Fetch 5.1.1b1, which has fixes to address the problems importing certain shortcuts, by clicking on this link: http://getfetch.com/Fetch_5.1.1b1.dmg
* Replace your copy of Fetch 5.1 with the updated version of Fetch.
* Then run Fetch 5.1.1b1. Please let us know if this fixes the problem or not.Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Scott,
I did exactly as you suggested and "yes", it all worked fine. I now have all my old shortcuts showing in the upgraded version.
Many thanks.

Sorry about this, I've searched for the topic, but...
I've just upgraded from Fetch 4.0.3 to 5.1 and in the new version I only get one shortcut (fetchsoftworks) in the shortcuts window. The old ones are still there if I open 4.0.3.
I've found the shortcuts file in Home Prefs, but when I open it directly - i.e. "open with Fetch 5.1" I get a Mac OS error -50, plus the following in the transcript file :
"Fetch 5.1 (5B286) PowerPC running on Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8J135) PowerPC English
StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1
Partial serial FETCH5X001-K6NW-G2AT T"
... and it stops there.
Oh, in the "open recent" menu, I see many of the missing shortcuts, but without their passwords.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Denis
