    Help! My web admin guy is a PC guy and hates my Mac and he just changed a bunch of stuff on our web server (like security and software programs and so on).
    I can no longer FTP with Fetch (or any other program). He's clueless. I already have the "Use passive mode transfers checked" in preferences.

    Never mind. Just read this:

    Do you have the OS X Firewall turned on (in the Sharing panel of System Preferences)? If so, try turning it off, and unchecking "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" in Fetch's Preferences.

    And it worked.

    I wanted to ask about the same problem but using Mac OS 9.2 as IT people got an MS ISA Server and i'velost FTP capabilities. Thanks a lot in advance
