can't upload files via FTP from Mac OS X (3 posts)

    Help! I can connect to remote server, I can download any file size from my website, but I can't upload files from this machine. It worked properly from Mac OS 9 with any FTP program. I am connecting to DSL through a Netgear MR314 hub router. I can successfully upload via FTP from Windows machine. Thanks a million if you know a fix.

    What happens when you try to upload? Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you see the problem?

    Thanks Jim. The problem was related to Mac OS X version 10.3. I just installed the 10.3.9 updater and this fixed the problem.
