Hi, I just upgraded fetch from 5 to 5.12 and now I am having trouble connecting to my web site, the error message says dropped server, this is before uploading, just trying to connect? Any ideas? Thanks Jeannette

    Hi Jeanette,

We're sorry to hear you're having problems.

We'd like some more information to help diagnose the problem.

After you try to connect and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message?

We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire

I'm having the same exact problem. Has anyone figured this out yet? I used Fetch perfectly during the free trial period, then paid for it, then it immediately stopped working. Everytime I try to log onto an FTP server it tells me the server dropped the connection -- and I receive that message before it could even have reached that server.

    Hi Zooty Zoot,

It's hard to say what the problem might be without more information.

After you try to connect and you get the error message, could you please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message?

We'll take a look and try to figure out where the problem lies.

    Thanks,

    Hi kcstreck,

Can you change to other folders on the server, just not "bigfoot", or do you have this problem will all folders?

If there are no other folders to try, can you create a new folder (Remote > New Folder), and then change to it, successfully?

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
