    I'm having some trouble uploading a paticular page of a website, after about 10 minutes of begining to upload this page I get the error message "Fetch could not put 'services.html' because the connection timed out. There might be a problem with your network, or the server might not be responding. Server responded: 'Opening ASCII mode data connection for services.html"

    This seems strange as I am able to upload all of the other pages in the site in the same session without trouble. The transcript is as follows:

    226-Transfer complete.
    226 Quotas off
    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (***,**,***,**,***,**).
    Making data connection to ***.**.***.** port *****
    STOR services.html
    150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for services.html

    ftp_store_close: 1,60 (state == RPUT_CLOSING)
    ABOR

    Any help would be appreciated, I hope I have not asked a silly question, I'm fairly new to this software!
    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Which version of Fetch are you using?

    And do you connect to the Internet using a wireless connection, or a router (to share the Internet connection between several computers)?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Could you please update to Fetch 5.2.1 (a free update) and let us know if that fixes the problem?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Thanks for trying, we're sorry to hear 5.2.1 didn't fix the problem.

    We'd like to see the entire transcript, from beginning to end, of an attempt to upload that file. Could you please do the following?

    * Quit Fetch, if it's running.
    * Open Fetch again.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Try uploading the problem file again.
    * Then choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

    If you don't feel comfortable posting the entire transcript here, you can email it to:

    bb at fetchsoftworks dot com

    instead.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
