    I don't know if you already are planning to address this, but as of 4.0b6, the screen redraw code in the main file transfer window and the progress meter seems to be fairly unoptimized - a lot of blinking and redrawing, and is fairly sluggish compared with 3.0.x

    I think that is fixed in 4.0b7 (except for slow file list display on Mac OS X, which I still need to address). Let me know if you see a problem with b7.
