Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu the next time you get this error and post the contents? It may clarify what is going wrong.
Thanks,

Thanks for your reply. Not much help from transcript window. Here's what it recorded:
Fetch 4.0.3 System 0x910 Expires 06/11/2004 TR

Connecting to 69.39.134.30 port 21 (6/4/04 9:18:26 AM)Is there some way to get a step-by-step user guide online to walk me through all connection steps, what I should be seeing, etc.?

Are you connected to the Internet when you try to connect with Fetch? What happens if you try to connect to ftp.fetchsoftworks.com (leave the User ID and Password fields blank).
There is a step-by-step tutorial in Fetch Help. Press the Help button in the New Connection window to see Fetch Help.
Thanks,

Am first-time user of downloaded trial version of Fetch. Have tried twice to log onto two separate FTP sites. Both failed giving me an "open transport error -3155" message. . .what gives? Nothing in ReadMe file helps.
Please help. Thanks
