Is AOL Link selected in the TCP/IP control panel?
What name are you entering in the Host field of the New Connection window?

TCP/IP is set up to connect via "AOL Link Enhanced"; Configure: is "Using Boot P Server"
Host is "users.frederickmd.com"

It appears that the hostname users.frederickmd.com is not correct. You should contact your service provider and ask them for the hostname of the FTP server you should use to upload files.

The host name was ok. Friends coninuned to upload with no problem. I began getting error messages "This machine is out of memory" and "this application needs an isp connection....." so I suspected corruption of SOMETHING. I finally decided to trash the Fetch prefs and if that didn't work, to reinstall Fetch. Trashing the prefs fixed the problem.
Please accept my sincere appreciation for your help - not just for my problem, but for all the others. I've read the postings on the message board, and it's clear that you are a committed, genuinely interested, and technically competent person. It's refreshing!

From AOL, trying to upload to another site, will not connect, and give error message 3212.
The site isn't the problem - others access it. Which of my AOL settings might be wrong?
