Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error? Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to open it; it should help me understand what's going on.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

It looks like you're trying to open a folder named ".". That isn't a particular folder, it is just a shortcut that refers to "the current folder". So there's no need to enter it -- you're already there. [Fetch notices that entering it doesn't have any effect and tries to download it, and that's why you get the error message.]
If you are in CalicoDocs and don't see the files you expect to see I'd recommend choosing "Refresh File List" from the Directories menu. If you still don't see what you expect I'd check with whoever was supposed to put the files there.
Thanks,
Jim Matthews

That did the trick. Thanks so much.
The second part of my question is how to get the split screen with the remote computer on one side and the local computer on the other. I have seen this before but can't seem to figure it out. I want to learn how to do this so I can tell my clients how to set it up when they get Fetch.

Fetch doesn't have a side-by-side view, but you can open a Finder window and position it next to the Fetch window to get a similar effect.
Thanks,

I am new at this so would appreciate some help. I am able to connect to the server and there is a list of folders on the server. I have access to all these folders since I am the administrator. However, when I open any of the folders, and then try to open the folder inside that folder to get the documents(Word docs) I get the error message: "Server response - failed to open file." I believe I have everything set correctly.
Also, before I had a double paned window and now it is just the remote site list. How do I get the two pane window back.
Thanks very much for your help.
