"Failure writing to local file" (5 posts)

  Upgraded to Fetch 5.2 and OSX10.41

  Trying to ftp jpeg & html files to existing site but get error message as in subject. Sometimes the files appear in the site folders but with 0k size. The web host has checked settings from their side and they are OK?
  Any ideas about this problem

  That's a problem on the web host. I would show them the transcript, and point out the "Failure writing to local file" line. That's coming from the server, and indicates a problem on the server side. Hopefully the server is also logging information about the error in the server's system logs.

  You are correct; the hosting company emailed this morning confirming that they reduced the web space available to me in error.
