OS X keeps a database of applications and the icons to be displayed for different file types, and it sounds like that database got messed up. I'd try deleting TextWrangler and installing a new copy, to see if that helps.

I just ended up buying BB Edit instead and I have a whole new set of icons now. :)
Since I use it every day of my life, I might as well just get the good stuff, right?

Definitely! BBEdit is well worth its price tag.

When upgrading to TextWrangler 4.0 or 4.0.1, I can't see the Text Wrangler icons when viewing files, even though the application is still set as the default for editing those types of files.
Any thoughts on why this could be happening? Is it a TextWrangler thing, or does Fetch need to update its library of icons somewhere?
