I would try restarting your Mac, and re-downloading the Fetch_5.7.4.dmg disk image. Let me know if that does not resolve the problem.
Thanks,

I just upgraded to 5.7, but the Fetch symbol has a (no) mark over the dog and when I try to open a message tells me that cannot open because it is not supported by this architecture. What does that mean? If it won't work can I get my old fetch 5 back?

Hi,
It sounds like you have a PowerPC Mac. Fetch 5.6 is the last version to work on a PowerPC Mac; you can download it at:
http://fetchsoftworks.com/fetch/download/Fetch_5.6.dmg
Thanks,

I just purchased and downloaded fetch. I am running OS 10.8.4 on a Powerbook 2ghz i7. When I double click on the Fetch_5.7.4.dmg I get a warning window that pops up saying: The following disk images couldn't be opened. Reason: Not recognized. Any advice for this?
