From FTP Server to Desktop: Replace or Merge File Option (2 posts)

  When I drag a folder from the server to my desktop, it doesn't ask to replace the folder or merge contents. How do I do that?

  Hi,

  By default Fetch will merge contents. If you want to replace the folder, you can do that by giving the existing folder a temporary name, uploading the new folder, and then deleting the folder that you renamed.
