    hi, i have just completed my first website in dreamweaver MX 2004 but i am have alot of trouble uploading the site to the web, i have the ftp details and i can conect to the server. the problem is that i dont know what to upload and where to upload it too?i have an index.html linking to other pages and i have a images folder with all my .gif & .jpeg files. another prolem is that on the remote folder there was a website which i deleted by accident,but it still loads in the browser.

    any help on this subject would be gratley valued

    If your website previews correctly on your hard disk (i.e. you can open your index.html file in your web browser and your pages look good), you should upload your files so that they are in the same relative positions on the server as on your Mac. So if the images folder is in the same folder as your index.html file on your hard disk, they should be in the same folder on the server. You can use the Put Folders and Files... command in the Remote menu to choose all the files and folders that make up your site and upload them.
