Hi Marie,
Fetch does not "use" HTML automatically - it does not change the names of your files at all. Fetch will upload or download files using whichever ending you give them, and not change it.
So I'm not sure the problem you are experiencing is related to Fetch, but if you could explain more about the problem, we may be able to give you further advice.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

It finally dawned on me that it wasn't Fetch doing it, Duh! Thanks , Scott.

I am an archivist and work with both htm and html type files which really keep me careful about how a document is saved. Lots of wasted time correcting because Fetch uses html automaticially and I sometimes don't catch it. Is there ANYTHING that can solve this problem so the docs can be recognized no matter which extension is used?? Or is this wishful thinkiing?
