Hi Sonny,
No, Fetch cannot create disks like an iDisk for FTP sites, sorry. Fetch does have a built-in synchronization feature, called Mirror; you can read more about it in the Mirroring a local folder to a remote folder and Mirror window help topics in Fetch Help.
The only application I know of that has a sort-of-like iDisk feature for FTP sites is Interarchy, which has a "Net Disk" feature. However, my understanding is that it does not behave exactly like an iDisk; you can't just give it a server address and see your files on the server, you need to specify a local folder that matches the folder on your server exactly so that changes can be kept in sync. And it is Macintosh-only.
Thanks for the feedback.
Best,
Scott McGuire

hello. i am wondering if anyone knows of an app that acts like iDisk but merges with my own website/server instead of .mac?
in particular, if fetch can be used in such a manner? ie, an icon on desktop that holds whatever folders files that i choose, functions like a harddrive and has a synchronization function allowing for updates/minor backup of set files and folders?
if not, might be a helpful/useful function app to consider in the future?
thanks. sonny
