Hi,
Under optimal conditions, you should probably be seeing somewhat faster transfers.
We've done some testing with Fetch on Gigabit networks, and we don't believe Fetch is the likely bottleneck. If you try uploading with the command-line FTP client or Interarchy, do you see similar speeds, or faster speeds?
If Fetch, the command-line client, and Interarchy all upload at about the same speed, the problem lies elsewhere - it may be the server, or something in the network, and you should talk to the network administrator.
But if Fetch is significantly slower than the other two, please let us know and we'll investigate further.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

I regularly move media files (.dv about 10-20GB in size) to my video server via Fetch and get speeds of 1-2MB/s, occasionally faster. I am on an internal GigE network, with a GigE router. What speeds should I expect? Hhow can I tweak most speed to move these large files quicker?
Thanks.
