  Hello --

  Is there a way to get Fetch to show the size of a directory, in the shortcuts window and/or the file transfer window.

  It will show file sizes, but not folder sizes.

  What I'm trying to do is have an easy way to keep track of free space.

  I understand I can do a 'get info' on the site and get that, but I am on a very slow connection (28k usually -- dirt road phone line) and getting info on the whole site takes a while.

  Any ideas?

  The FTP protocol does not include a way to quickly total the size of a directory's contents, so for Fetch to show totals in the file list would involve doing a "Get Info" on every directory. That would be much too slow for regular use, so you have to manually give the Get Info command to (slowly) get that information.
