So mirroring those files brought them down even though there were files with that name on your Mac already?
My guess is that this is a bug in Fetch's handling of files with names longer than 31 characters. Fetch 4.0.2 will be the first release to handle long names, but it looks like the mirroring code isn't quite right. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention -- I will try to fix it for the official release of 4.0.2.
Thanks,

Exactly. I normally do a daily mirror, and then once that's finished, another mirror right afterward's just for paranoia's sake ;) ...

Now that I think about it, that makes absolutely perfect sense. I'm not in front of my OS X box right now, but I'll confirm this for you later tonight.

I'm using the beta version of 4.02 (which fixes the -31xx bug I was seeing on a mirror - great!) and I'm having some issues with mirroring.
I'm doing a remote-to-local mirror. My server does support the MDTM command, as per this output:
As such, those files are not mirrored. However, today being the 17th of April, the following files *are* mirrored, even though they shouldn't be:
I've got 200 files that are like the above - they're mirrored, but they shouldn't be (doesn't the MDTM show the 14th of April above?). Oh, and yes, I do want .shtml files sent over in BINARY format, mainly because the linefeed encoding is important - I don't want them autotranslated into Mac linefeeds (which happens if I bring them over in ASCII).
So, any ideas on this?
