moving folders .... simple question (3 posts)

    simple simple simply close to stoogie true, but i cant figure out how to simply move folders from directory to directory [under the same root] without copying them. surely something i should know ... if someone could be so helpful to help a novice out....

    You should be able to drag the folder icon (of the folder you want to move) to the open-folder icon above the left side of the file list in the Fetch transfer window. That moves the folder to the parent directory. Then choose the parent directory from the pop-up menu above the file list, and (if necessary) refresh the file list so you can see the folder you moved. Then you can drag it into any of the other folders at that level.
