My password will not be encrypted (3 posts)

  As I am about to enter my password, the message "Your password will not be encrypted" is dosplayed.

  The menu option to Enable Encryption is greyed out. I date not log in,

  Check for Update says my version is up to date. What can I do to encrypt my password?

  Hi,

  You should contact your hosting company and find out if they support FTPS (FTP with TLS/SSL) or SFTP, both of which encrypt passwords.
