need help with error message (2 posts)

    when i try to upload a file (updating a web page), i get the error message, "server file error: error writing file: disk quota exceeded" and then the file itself becomes blank. does anyone know what's going on?

    Your web service provider has put a limit on the total size of files you can upload, and it looks like you just hit that limit. You may need to delete some unneeded files, or talk to the service provider about getting more space.

    The Get Info command in the Remote menu totals up the space taken up by the selected files and directories; it can be a useful tool for monitoring your disk space usage.
