It is said the next major release of Fetch will support sftp. Is there a time table for the next release? I ask this because one on my clients requires sftp to access his host. Thanks.

After further research into this question I think I stumbled over the answer I was looking for. Jim, you mentioned other threads that you hope to have Fetch SFTP capable by mid 2003. Is this still a foreseeable time table?

    That's still the plan.

What is the current time estimate for releasing a SSH/SFTP version of Fetch? Will is work with Panther Mac OS 10.3?

    Thanks!

SFTP support is planned for later this year, and it will definitely work on Panther.

Yeah right. 4.0.3 dates from way back in 2002! And the sftp upgrade was projected for a year ago! Did this announced super-duper programmer Miro do anything worthwhile?

We're definitely behind the schedule that I envisioned, and I hope that I've learned my lesson about predicting release dates. On the brighter side, the update is coming along (we checked in a dozen bug fixes yesterday) and we think people will be happy with the results.

    Thanks,
