I just downloaded Fetch and every known ftp site I am trying to connect to gives me the error, "no host by that name". Including the Fetch Softworks site which I thought was open to anyone. My internet connection is fine!

It sounds like your proxy settings might be corrupted. I would choose Preferences... from the Customize menu, click on the Firewall tab, and set the Proxy Type to "None". Please let me know if that does not fix the problem.
