I'm surprised that you don't see any files or directories when you connect to the PC. Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window (it's listed in the Window menu) after connecting? Once we can figure out how to find the directories it's fairly simple to make shortcuts.
Thanks,

Jim - thanks! It might be a security system on the PC. I had to have it completely reformatted and reinstalled, so need to check those settings, as before the revamp, it worked fine.
I am on the road for a few daze, so will not be able to get back to this until late next week.
I will send a response then.
Thanks so much!
Julie

First, let me say that this program rocks! I wish there was a similar program for PC's (CuteFTP is ok, but not as nice...)
Here's my problem - I am very new to this program, and have a Mac and a PC networked, and I can get to the PC connection, but do not know the basic syntax to change directories or create a shortcut to the directory of choice - no files or folders are showing in the window when I get connected to it at "/".
Where am I on the PC? How can I change where I am and see the files and folders in the place where I want to be. I searched the forum archives and the help and could not figure it out.
So - here's the bottom line:
1 - need syntax to change directories on a PC
2 - need syntax for the Shortcuts to point to a specific directory on a PC.
Thanks so much!
