Problem recording AppleScript (4 posts)

  When I record my actions using Script Editor it records the new transfer window with properties but does not record when I click Put Files.

  Am I doing something wrong?

  It should record when you click Put Files, but only if you go through with the upload (i.e. pick one or more files, then choose the format to use). It should record a "put into" event.

  Please let me know if you're actually uploading but nothing is being recorded.

  I double checked... yes, I'm going through with the upload but it's not being recorded.

  Here's what I'm getting (substituting url and userid for the actual text):

  tell application "Fetch 4.0.3"
  activate
  make new transfer window at beginning with properties {hostname:"url", userid:"userid", password:"TYPE THE REAL PASSWORD HERE"}
  end tell

  You're absolutely right, Fetch fails to record that upload event. I will figure out why, and make sure it's fixed in the next release. In the meantime you might try dragging files to the Fetch transfer window from the Finder; that should be recorded.
