Renaming KClient/GSS menu items (3 posts)

    In the security menu, there are items for KClient and GSS. Those labels don't carry a lot of meaning for our users, so I'd like to modify them to include "Kerberos 4" and "Kerberos 5" somewhere in the label.

    At first, I thought this was simply a matter of using ResEdit to change the MENU resource #281. But after making the change, I don't see any difference in the program.

    What am I missing? Is there something I can do to make those menu items more descriptive?

    You should check the STR# 257 resource, items 82 and 83. Changing those should have the effect you want.
