The recommended option is to use the Keychain (on Mac OS 9 and above). Check the "Add to Keychain" button when you make a connection, and then Fetch will retrieve the password from the keychain whenever the keychain is unlocked.
Another, less secure, option is to create a shortcut including a password. You can create the shortcut by choosing "Create New Shortcut" from the Shortcuts popup menu in the New Connection window. To add the password, choose "Fetch Shortcuts" from the Window menu, select the shortcut, and choose "Edit Shortcut..." from the Customize menu.
