security options not showing in new connection (3 posts)

    I am running Fetch 4.0 on mac osx. I am trying to log into the university of washington server and am unable to do so because the new connection screen only lists hostname, userid, password, keychain and then proxy information. I need to have the security box where I check GSS... but that doesn't exist. Any suggestions?

    The Security pop-up menu will only show up if you have Kerberos for Macintosh installed. The U.W. help desk should help you get that software.

    Hmmm. I actually do have Kerberos installed. I have to in order to use my pine email and that works fine. However, it is on classic OS and Fetch is on OSX, so maybe I need kerberos for OSX, which I don't think exists. Any ideas?
