    Hi Nora,

It is confusing to begin with, but we're happy to help you figure it out. To make my explanation more helpful it would be useful to know what you want to use Fetch for. Are you uploading a website?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

If you have a website, it is typically hosted by a web hosting company (examples include Dreamhost, GoDaddy, Pair, etc.). That's the company that actually owns the server computer that will hold your website and make it available to web surfers 24 hours a day. When you set up an account with the web hosting company they should have told you what hostname, username and password to use to upload your files with an FTP client like Fetch. If you don't still have that information you can contact them to get it.

    I hope this helps,
