Set multiple permissions during transfer (2 posts)

    Hi -

    Is there a way to retain chmod permissions when transfering files within a root directory?

    I have the need to install the same perl scripts multiple times in my root directory. I keep one directory with the scripts as a template. I then option drag that directory to another directory, where I then rename it. During this transfer, the permission settings change.

    I tried a direct server to server setting but this didn't help.

    Is there something I'm missing?

    No, unfortunately that isn't possible at this time. I'll consider that a feature request.
