Setting automatic permissions for editing on the FTP (2 posts)

  I'm having an issue with setting permissions for writing and reading (basically editing) for all the files on my FTP - so that it does this automatically when I load a file. How is this done? Right now, I have to load a file and then go into the Get Info tab, then set the UNIX Equivalent to 777 on every file I load. It used to be automatic.

  Hi,

  You can contact the administrator of the FTP server to see if they will change the default permission for uploaded files.
