I tried to delete a chain of folders created by mistakes but 'no permission' messages pop up.

I was told to 'Go into your FTP client's settings and preferences and try enabling 'Show Hidden files'.' but how? where?

    THanks.

Try checking the "Send LIST -al to UNIX servers" option in the Obscure Options popup menu, which you can find in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,

Thanks Jim, now it shows the hidden files but I am still denied permission to 'rename' or 'delete' the chain of folders, do you know why? Is it a commend was set by my server provider ?

    Thanks in advanced.

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you see the problem?

    Thanks,

I've got my server provider to delete the folders eventually --- Thanks for your notes, now I know more about what I can do with the program.

Fetch is easy to use and we appreciate the support you guys have been providing (over the years)!

    :)
