    howdy.
    everytime i try to upload files i get a peak speed of around 35K. that slows down bit by bit and then finally quits.

    i am on a cable modem. g4 powerbook running OS 9.2. i have tried without my router and run into the same problem.

    It is normal for upload transfer rates to start high and then settle down, but they should reach a plateau and stay fairly constant. Are your transfers ever completing? Were uploads working before, or have they always failed?
