Putting the port number after the hostname or IP address should work; if that isn't working I'd like to see the contents of the Fetch Transcript window.
In Fetch 4.0 you can click the little triangle control to reveal a port number field in the New Connection window.

Thanks!
I don't have the program, I am supporting
a remote user. I really appreciate the help.
Your response came just in time.

How do you specify a non standard port in fetch?
What is the format?
I have tried
ipaddress:port
but that hasn't worked.
TIA
