That sounds like a problem with the system software running your modem or ethernet connection (however you're connected to the Internet). Did this problem just start happening? Have you installed any software recently?
You might have to reinstall OS X.
Thanks,

Well,
The problems started when I installed SAGEM modem (Free Telecom in France).
Since I had Norton at the time I thought it might have been a problem with it.
I reinstall the system but the problem remains the same.

I would contact your ISP or the modem vendor, and let them know that you are seeing crashes whenever you upload data.
Thanks,

Thanks.
I contacted them but as you know it's not always easy to be heard...
Anyway, I'll try once more :)
Many thanks for your time!

When I try to upload files with Fetch, my system crashes - MAC OS 10.1.5
First it says that the connection is broken then I can't open nor close Fetch or any other application and in the end when I try to shut down my computer, it doesn't work, I have to press O/I button.
It's the same problem when I'm connected to Gnutella through Limewire.
Do you have any information about that?
Many thanks!
