You want to copy the "Fetch Shortcuts" file from the Preferences folder in the System Folder of your Mac OS 9 system to the Preferences folder in the Library folder in your home directory on Mac OS X.
Another option is to run Fetch 4.0.2 under Mac OS X, choose "Fetch Shortcuts" from the Window menu, and then double-click the old Fetch Shortcuts file in the Finder. You should then have both the old and new lists on the screen, and you can drag shortcuts from one to the other.

Thanks! The second option you suggested worked great.

I recently upgraded to Mac OS X and reinstalled Fetch 4.0 (upgraded to 4.0.2). How can I move shortcuts that were created in 4.0 (Mac OS 9) so I will not have to recreate them?
I tried moving the old shortcuts file to the library folder in the preferences file, but it still would not update the shortcuts.
