Well, such a nice little neat classical product Fetch was...
...and look what you have done to it! Yuck...

I can't even download a BETA version without filling out a form full of private information - I really hate this bussiness attitude.

I am not mean and wish you the best - but I really hope you won't get far this way. Look at competition (hint: Stairways Software) to teach you on-line bussiness maners.

I am sorry that the registration process comes across as ill-mannered. The main reason I am using this technology to distribute the 4.0 beta is that it lets you download upgrades from within Fetch, including upgrades that cost money.

As it happens, the 4.0 beta that went out yesterday had a bug. Because of the registration process, I can contact the people who were inconvenienced by this bug, and offer them a free copy of Fetch when it goes final. So I'm glad that I decided to do it this way, and hopefully those people are glad as well.

I downloaded the beta version, and it didn't
ask me for any personal information. :)

The one thing I don't like, though, is the
use of ASP. I routinely DENY all ASPSESSION
cookies; they turn me off so I turn them off!
