I'm trying to set up a new connection. Hostname, username, password all correct. I gain access to my "public" file and can successfully edit any file using my html editor.

When I first tried to begin using webview, apparently I did not enter the initial url correctly (you only get one chance to get it right!) I only get the following error message:

    Not Found,
The requested URL /public/index.html was not found on this server.

I would like to delete this connection data so that I can start again from scratch, and this time take advantage of the help information to try to enter the intitial url correctly.

Please tell me how to delete the data, and if you can give me some tips about setting up webview so that it works.

    thank you

    Hi,

The easiest way to correct a broken WebView setup is to navigate to the folder that holds your index.html file, hold down the Option key, and click the WebView button. Then enter the address of your website.

To verify that the setup is now correct, click the WebView button (without holding down the Option key).

Please let me know if that does not work.

    Thanks,
