Hi Julie,
In order to access his server via Fetch, he'd need to set up and run an FTP or SFTP server on the same machine that is the webserver, and give you an FTP/SFTP account on it. Then he'd have to tell you the hostname or IP address of the server (probably the same as you already have, and a username and password, that might be different from what he's set up already for Remote Desktop Connection access.
Once all that's done, you should be able to use Fetch to upload and download files.
Let us know if this makes sense.
Thanks,
Scott McGuire

Hello ~ I am building a website for someone who has his own server. I am on a Mac and he a pc. I was wondering if I could connect using Fetch. He has given me access to his desktop using Remote Desktop Connection. I have the numbers & password, but was hoping that I could do it easier with Fetch.
(Love that doggie!) Hope this makes sense. If you think that it is possible, if you can tell me what information that I need from him, it would be awesome! Thank you all, so much, in advance. Have a fine evening.
