I'm a newbie on Mac OS10.3. I am a media person trying to connect to a site given to me by a P.R. rep. He gave me the site, username and password. the site as i type it in is exactly what he gave me ... ftp. xxxx .com

is there anything else I need to know to connect, or should I just contact the guy and see if the problem's on his end?

    Hi,

Rarely, you may need to know the initial folder (or "path') to connect to, but the PR rep should have given you that information, and it is not common.

You should probably double-check the information you received from him.

But if you tell us the exact error you are receiving from Fetch, we may be able to give you some advice as well.

    Thanks,

I got a "connection could not be opened because server could not be found" message.
