Why can't I get better than 1.3MB/s upload speed?

My internet connection is 400/20 and I'm testing at that. Fetch still only uploads at 1.3 MB/s

    Hi,

There are a lot of possible reasons why Fetch doesn't use all of your bandwidth. I would try a different FTP client (e.g. Transmit or Cyberduck) to see how much of it is due to Fetch and how much is due to other factors.

By the way, I'm guessing that your internet connection is measured in bits, while Fetch measures transfer rates in bytes. If that's the case then Fetch is uploading at 10Mbit/sec, or using about half of your 20Mbit/sec upstream bandwidth.

    Thanks,
