Why does it say "/-al" instead of "/"? (4 posts)

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you see this error?
Then I would suggest choosing Preferences... from the Fetch menu, clicking on the Miscellaneous tab, and checking the "Use 'LIST -al' command to reveal hidden files" checkbox. Does that fix the problem?
Thanks,

I'd like to see a transcript of the error so I can fix this problem in a future release. Could you check that box again, connect to your server, get the error, and then post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window? Then you can uncheck the box again to make things work.
Thanks,

Hi!
I've got problems with my Fetch 5.0! When I connect to my server everything seems fine. Until i get to the point when fetch says "getting file list". When that happens I get an alert "access error: no such file '/-al'", however i just wanted to go to "/"! Why does Fetch say "-al"? Where does i come from? I'm getting i little bit confused 'cause it all worked in Fetch 4! Can I make it work somehow?
