  • Using my MacBook Pro (OS ventura13.2.1), I have down loaded Fetch.app ( v5.8.3) to get from and put to a computer server connected by the vpn connection any file (*.txt, *.in and *.out and so on). But, when I cricked “put” button, the widow disappeard, despite the “get” button works normally. This strange error could not be ascertained by a help-desk parson.

  • Hi Masami,

I have received a number of reports of this problem. It seems to only affect some users. Do you see the problem if you login to your computer as Guest?

One workaround is to drag files from the Finder to the Fetch window.

    Thanks,

  • I…don’t actually hate Stage Manager all that much? The the way you have to group and ungroup windows needs fixed, but as a window switcher I like that it gets all of the windows I’m not currently focusing on out of the way automatically. On macbook sized screens I find it visually distracting to have a bunch of windows overlapping, so stage manager actually makes it so I can get those out of the way quickly but also quickly switch back to them without minimizing to the dock

  • Hi,

I have had other reports of the Put problem, but I have not been able to reproduce the problem or find its cause. I so far have not had any reports of this problem on macOS Sonoma, so upgrading to Sonoma is one thing to try. Otherwise you can work around the problem by dragging items from the Finder to Fetch.

    Thanks,
