Fetch 5.2 introduces WebView, adds FTPS support and Droplet Shortcuts by Jim Matthews

San Francisco, CA — Fetch Softworks is pleased to announce the availability of Fetch 5.2, the latest release of the original Macintosh file transfer program. Fetch 5.2 introduces WebView, a convenient way to view files in a web browser and copy web addresses from Fetch. New support for FTP with TLS/SSL (FTPS) makes Fetch 5.2 the first Macintosh FTP client to support all the major file transfer security standards: SSL, SFTP, and Kerberos. Fetch 5.2 also adds support for creating droplet shortcuts, for easy drag-and-drop uploading. Fetch 5.2 is available for downloading from fetchsoftworks.com and is a free upgrade for Fetch 5 users.

Fetch Softworks will be demonstrating the new features of Fetch 5.2 this week at Macworld Expo 2007, Booth N4014-02 in the Moscone North Hall, and has prepared a video screencast demonstration of the new WebView feature for viewing at fetchsoftworks.com.

Fetch 5.2 is a Universal application, compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, including Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.

Fetch 5.2 is free to try for 15 days, and a single-user license is $25. Upgrades from Fetch 5 are free of charge; upgrades from Fetch 4 are available for $15. Free licenses are available for educational and charitable use.
