  • Like several of the other posters, I would really like to see you ad the ability to export videos. It seems that adding file sharing to roadshow would be a great solution. Many other apps have this feature which makes moving media to your computer and then other locations a snap. Please consider adding this feature.

  • Thanks for the feedback. The issue with exporting videos is that we do not want Roadshow to be used to violate copyright, and we have no way of controlling what happens to a video once it has been exported.

  • I am curious where the videos sit within the Ipad file structure? Much like Windows Explorer?

  • Videos are stored in Roadshow’s document directory.

  • No, it still isn’t possible to export videos.

  • Hi,

first of all, it’s a great app for watching videos while on a train when no wifi is available and data rates would be too high.

I just wonder: are you going to implement an export/share feature in the future? Or are you sure you won’t because of potentially violating rights?

    Thanks in advance

  • Glad to hear you’re enjoying it!

We’ve thought about adding an export feature, but haven’t made any decision one way or the other.

    Thanks!

  • I think I understand the problem of preventing duplication of copyrighted material, etc. but it would be helpful for organization of files and management of iPad memory space if files could be saved to HD or main computer space in unplayable files/folders, singly or in groups by type, or title, or subject, or… , that would open and play when restored to Roadshow on the iPad.
